Skirting the Issue

Have you been following along over at Simple Simon & Co. for their Skirting the Issue Series?  I love the concept!  A different skirt tutorial every day on their own blog and Project Run and Play to help everyone come up with ideas to sew skirts for girls of all ages and sizes in foster care.

I know sometimes when I sew, I often wish there was someone else that could benefit from all the fabric I buy!  (more on that later), so it is always nice to have a place to send handmade clothing to, and where you know it will be needed and cherished!
DSC_5184This little skirt is my contribution…a knit apron skirt!    It is pretty simple to put together and is really playful…

This is really really cute. I love the idea of knit skirts - they just sound comfy. Might try an adult version.

I read each and every comment and look forward to them with every post! I try to respond by email but sometimes things get busy and I just can't. I seriously wish we could all chat and have coffee some day, wouldn't that be fun?. If you do ask a question, I always leave a comment answering. Love ya!
