I realized I never posted this tutorial from Natalie’s room. It is ultra easy and can be done in an afternoon! It adds so much pizzazz to an otherwise boring nightstand. You can use this method with anything, including bookshelves and fronts of drawers
All you need is your favorite fabric and some Mod Podge!
First, I painted this Craig-listed nightstand a pretty turquoise
Then, I measured the back piece of the nightstand from the inside and cut my fabric to size.
Load up the back of the nightstand with Mod Podge
And place your fabric right on top. Make sure to press down and smooth out any bubbles that may occur. At this point, my fabric was adhered enough, but you may want to add another layer of mod podge to the top of the fabric. It dries clear, so no worries!
And there you have it! A cute little fabric infused nightstand that adds a splash of whimsy and ties in perfect with all the other decor
