I finally took the plunge and opened up a Big Cartel Shop called Punkware and am offering the Floor Cushion for SALE!!!
I’ve had numerous people email me over the years to see if I sell them and I have usually always declined. I think my main reason for not wanting to go ahead with it was how to offer up the fabrics and options. I think how I now have set it up on Big Cartel is easy and pretty straightforward.
Here is a rundown…because it can get a little screwy if you don’t pay attention :)
The first thing you want to do is click the Custom Floor Cushion
Click add to cart. Then click ALL to get back to homepage
Next is the fun part, pick your fabric! You pick 1, 2 or 3. You can click on all the choices to see a bigger picture of each one
Once you decide on your fabric, click add to cart. Then click ALL to get back to homepage
Next you get to pick your piping. At this point you will add this item to your cart and take a look at all the colors offered.
Click add to cart. You will be telling me the color at another step.
Here is your cart with the custom cushion, the fabric and the piping. Click checkout
That immediately takes you to Paypal to make the payment
In the review stage of the order, click on the NOTE TO SELLER and add in your piping color you want. Click save and then Pay Now.
That’s it! Click HERE to get straight to the SHOP

Congrats! An idea to you to consider. Perhaps you could make them without the fill to post overseas. I found your link from Younghouselove.com and Sherry said she was thinking of putting in a zipper so that they were washable. If you made them with a zipper, then you could sell just the cover and international people could fill themselves. :D
Anyway, good luck with it all. I really want to make two of these (once I learn to sew) a thin one for taking to the movies as the chairs are really hard! and a really big one that I could lie on myself. Love them! Especially the handle.
