Skill Required: Beginner
Cost: $9 ($0 for me, this pattern was part of my prizes for winning Skirt Week last year)
Fabric used: Quilting cotton from Joann’s ($6/yard). 2” wide red satin ribbon.
Other notions: NONE
Pattern Sizing: Preemie-Girls 10 (I made size 4)
True to size?: Yes
Variations: 3 lengths (Short, Capri, Full) I made the full length
Paper or Download: Download
Instructions easy to follow?: Yes! And easy to cut! The way she makes the pattern pieces is very easy to cut. There was only one piece of 8.5×11 to print!
Alterations?: UPDATE: YES! For each panel, I started with the size being the WOF (width of fabric)=22″, instead of the called for 25″ in the pattern. This made the overall look a little less bulky and also caused me to not use as much fabric!
Would you make it again?: Yes! I already have a short version in the works for our casual Easter celebration on Saturday.
