This little coat is To. Die. For.
When I first saw it, I thought it was a total Jackie O style!

Violette Field Threads has made a name for themselves recently in providing easy, stylish patterns for the handmade market.  They certainly have an eye for fashion and it translates into their designs.

This is the Molly Jacket.  I made it with a black twill outer and a quilting cotton interior.  The fabric possibilities are exciting on this one!  I can see it in a denim with contrasting thread, a sumptuous velvet, or even fleece!

The pattern is made to be worn reversible too, but I kept mine one-sided.  The buttons are the perfect touch.  If you don’t do buttons, you can always use velcro…I’ve done that a few times in the past!

I’ve had Natalie wear it a few times already.  It’s easy to dress up or down, but I think my fave is the jeans and T-shirt look with a pair of red flats
