I am sure you can all relate with saying things you’d never dreamed of saying to anyone…
Never even thought such utterances were even necessary in the human world…
Then you had kids…
Here are some excerpts from our house this week along with some recent pictures…
“Poop is awesome sweety!”
“You’ve gotta make a brown to get a brown[m&m]”
“Please don’t do that to yourself”
“Don’t lick the floor!!”
“You want to eat again?”
“Stop sitting on your head!”
“We aren’t animals!”
I love these people!…and I’m so glad they help me bring out the best of the English language :)

Oh dear...sometimes I wonder if we realized what we're getting ourselves into! But I still can't wait to experience all this myself. :)
And then there are the Mommilies -- things your mother said to you and that you swore up and down you'd NEVER say to your kids. Right. My all time fave was: "I hope you have 10 kids just like you!" Of course my mom called off the curse after my first child since it was obvious one kid (especialy THAT kid) was pay-back enough.
That is so funny and so true. Your post really made me laugh.
I love all those things you never thought you'd hear yourself say.
"No feet on the baby."
"How many times do I have to say, no feet on the baby?!"
"Your husband left his pants in my bedroom." (to a dear friend whose hubby borrowed some shorts from mine, said as I handed them over at a birthday party and got some strange looks from everyone else, LOL.)
LOL - those were so fun to read. I especially love the pic with your sons with the ponytails to match their sister. Hope their friends don't see this blog. So cute!
Before I had kids.....my kids were never going to fart, burp or pick their noses, much less in public. God laughed and gave me 3 boys :)

I read each and every comment and look forward to them with every post! I try to respond by email but sometimes things get busy and I just can't. I seriously wish we could all chat and have coffee some day, wouldn't that be fun?. If you do ask a question, I always leave a comment answering. Love ya!
