Sew Cool {Specimen Art} Part Tres

officail Initail 020
This is my last piece of art that I have for this series.  I wanted to stay on the sewing theme, and what better way to do that than with buttons!

officail Initail 033 officail Initail 035 officail Initail 041
I know this is not rocket science, but here goes:

officail Initail 003
Materials:
10x10 Shadow Box
Scrap fabric (12'”x12”)
Various buttons
Glue Gun
Printed initial

officail Initail 005
Take the back off of your shadowbox

officail Initail 006
Place the back board onto the fabric, wrong sides together

officail Initail 007
Run a bead of hot glue along the bottom

 officail Initail 008
Press your fabric onto the hot glue.  To make the corner, just fold into a triangle

officail Initail 009
And glue down the next side

 officail Initail 011
officail Initail 012
Lightly trace your initial onto the fabric front

officail Initail 013
Begin randomly placing your buttons.  I placed the larger ones first, and then started building from there

officail Initail 014
Place buttons on top of each other to get dimension

officail Initail 015
Fill in to your heart’s content!
