San Francisco Treat {A giveaway} CLOSED

I went with the mama and {one of} the sisters to San Francisco on Tuesday

The weather was be-u-tea-full

We walked

and walked

and shopped

and shopped

and ate

and ate

and met P-Dub!

She is just like you think she'd be.  Real.  Gorgeous.  Funny.

She had a Black Heels to Tractor Wheels book signing at Books, Inc. on Van Ness

There were 400+ people there.  Yah, and it was hot!

She started with a brief introduction {her girlies were there with her} and then answered questions.
After, we got in line to get our books signed.  I was so thankful that we were like 6th in line, or else I would've ripped someone's face off from the heat.
I even took my cookbook, all tattered and stained, to get signed.

And....I got a Black Heels signed for you!

She signed it "Love from the ranch, Ree"

How cool is that!?

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment telling me your favorite Pioneer Woman recipe
If you haven't made any of her recipes...what's wrong with you?
Just kidding...leave a comment with your own favorite recipe.
Leave links if you want so we can all see!

That's it!

Only one comment per person, please!  If you make a mistake, please delete the first one before posting another.  Thanks!

Comments will close on Thursday, February 17 at 9pm PST
Winner will recieve one Black Heels book, signed by Ree

My fave recipe of hers has got to be her breakfast potatoes. Mmmm, so tasty. And embarrassingly healthier then the way I used to make them!

What recipe don't I love of her's? I think my absolute favorite would have to be her PW Favorite Sandwich, the grilled cheese with green chili, onion and tomato on rye. It is phenomenal!

Beef with snow peas, hands down. Easy yet elegant, the kind of food you would order in a restaurant, only your homemade one is better.
Thanks for pictures of the trip, not as good as being there but close.

I'm not hugely familiar with the Pioneer Woman Cookbook but now that you've mentioned it...it's a MUST HAVE for our household. I get funny looks from my friends when I'm saying.."I'm sure I could make THAT for much cheaper."

It was hard for me to not spend over an hour on her website because there's so much I want to try. Looks like the "favorite" I unwillingly narrowed my search down to is her Cinnamon Rolls! I feel a Pioneer Woman Cinnamon Roll exchange party coming on!

The Andersons said...

Don't know if I could just pick one... I make a new recipe each week and most of her's get added to the "routine"- I do make her Cinnamon rolls at least once a month and eat a pan by myself...

Thanks for this great giveaway.

I was actually given her Maple Cinnamon Roll recipe by a friend, but didn't know anything about her, but after reading the description of the book... I HAVE TO WIN THIS BOOK!!!! It TOTALLY describes how MY cowboy swept a city girl off her feet!!!!! I would love, love, love to win this book!!!!!!

Her cinnamon rolls....i have made them many times and they always turn out perfectly!

Do I really have to pick just ONE recipe? AAHH!

Okay... how about the baked lemony pasta

and mac and cheese

and apple brown betty

and... I'll stop there ;-)

Lynsey said...

I can't possibly pick just one recipe of P-Dub's. Seriously, every time I have family or friends over for dinner it is an experiment with a new PW recipe... I have made almost everything in her book.

So I'll go with my husband's favorite so far.

The Marlboro Man sandwich. (and though he doesn't know it yet, I'm going to make her version of the MM sandwich soon to shake things up a bit!!)
