Made: Lil Blue Boo Hoodies

Last week I made up a trio of hoodies for my punks
From an Igloo was having a sew-a-long and I thought I'd join in.... Sew-a-longs are so fun, especially when people post to a flickr group so you can see what everyone else has done.  This sew-a-long was with the LBB Hoodie.   I have purchased a few of Ashley's patterns before and they are always,
no-nonsense and easy to follow.  This one was no different.

I fell in love with this houndstooth knit at my local fabric store.  It was a little pricey, but the nice lady at the register gave me a discount  :)

This knit is so soft and comfy.....

The pattern only goes up to size 7, so I made the size 8 adjustments myself. They turned out a little on the slim side, but I think slim is in.....

I added a little extra trim to punkette's hoodie above the bottom hem....feminize it a little for her.

I love the trim colors I chose.  I had all the ribbed knit "in stock" at my house.  I wasn't sure how the brown was going to end up looking, but I think it's my favorite now  :)

Those look great! I LOVE houndstooth! I've not tried to sew with knit fabric before. How much different is it than just regular cotton?
