Some fabric.....and a frock!

I've been gearing up to do some fall sewing.  I'm thinkin' cute tops, sweet dresses...you know, like summer, but with longer sleeves  :)

Quilt Home is always my go-to online store for fabrics. Their site is super easy to navigate and as you add fabrics to your cart, you can see them on the sidebar to help you coordinate fabrics much easier.

They also have free shipping on any orders over $50, have rotating sales on certain fabrics (like Anna Maria Horner the other day), and no sales tax

Sorry guys, i bought the last yard of this scrum-dilli-icious fabric....I know!!  I can't wait to see what it becomes!!!

Now, on to other pressing matters:

I have been reading Grosgrain's blog for a while now, and Kathleen has some fabulous stuff on her blog.  She has some great sewing tips and hosts a Frocks by Friday Sew Along that I have wanted to try for some time now, but I always seem to miss it....well, now I have caught one that is actually in the future (you know, versus the past) and I am signed up!

I'm not real crazy about the style of dress, but I'm going to try it anyway and see how it comes out.  I have a wedding to go to August 14, so maybe this dress frock shall be my attire.  For some reason when I say frock, I either want to laugh, or start talking French.

It's usually the former because, I don't speak French!  Wee Wee?

Anyone want to join in?  Go on over and check it out!

Thanks for sharing this site! I've always used fabric.com because they have no tax and free s+h on orders over $35. But I'm always game for a new fabric site and more options!!!! I just purchased some cool home decor fabric to make some cordless roman shades. A little nervous about it, but I'm game! Keep us posted on what you make.
