I'm excited to announce I will be doing a Summer Grilling Series for the next couple of months. Our family LOVE's to grill during the summer and the hubmiester has become an expert griller over the years....seriously, he could have a throwdown with Bobby Flay....and WIN!
Buttery Grilled Corn
You will need:
4 Ears of Corn, fully shucked
1/2 cube butter
garlic salt
We put our corn right over the hot coals without any husk covering...people look in horror as we do so, shaking their heads in disbelief, but I'm telling you, try it. Just keep an eye on it and turn it so it doesn't get burned....no biggie
After the corn is cooked and has some caremlization, cut each ear in half and throw it in a baggie with the 1/2 cube butter and a dash of garlic salt....let the butter fully melt as you smoosh around the bag to get it all over the corn. Let it rest for a few minutes.
This is what I serve the punks....corn-sicles :)
And here is punk-ette's serving, cut off the cob
And here's hubmiesters plate..Y-U-M-M-Y!
I won't show you my plate...it was bigger than this.
Oh, and that trip-tip....TO DIE FOR! That will be another post soon

I LOVE your blog! This corn looks so great and lots easier without all the husk stuff! THANK YOU! (Uhhhh ... is there an extra plate of that for ME, by any chance? You know - like LEFTOVERS? LOL!)

Hi! I have been a lurker here for some time! LOVE your blog! We grill corn without the husk too. Before we start I blanch it briefly and then I actually "baste" my corn with butter that has a little sugar melted in during the grilling process. Grilled corn is awesome!
This looks delicious! I'm adding this to our summertime menu! Looks amazing! Thanks so much for joining the Sunday Showcase! I greatly appreciate it! Hope you have a wonderful week! ~ Stephanie Lynn
Really enjoying the grilling posts! My hubby & I just grilled some chicken last night, and it was so YUMMY. We haven't grilled out much, so I was pretty proud of myself to have come up with a from scratch marinade. Looking forward to more ideas from your blog. Lovin' it!
